In Spring 2025, the ABLE team of ABLE, PAM, and Sixth World Solutions was selected to guide the RIO partners in designing a planning process and scope of work for a regional vision plan for the Salt and Gila Rivers by  building a participatory process that engages the diverse communities along the river corridor and honors their unique assets, needs, and priorities.

2024 was a busy year at ABLE! After a little wintertime rest, we’re taking a look back to celebrate our achievements, appreciate our many collaborators and partners, and reflect on the exciting work that’s carrying us into 2025.

In the first round of engagement, ABLE and Seattle Parks hosted activities at three community events to talk with people about the beloved Genesee Park play area in need of a refresh.
